Roman Arutyunyan

Roman is only 29 years old, but he has already served in the Artsakh Defense Army, participated in several military operations, and sustained two injuries. Recently, Roman was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis—a disease that can lead to disability and the inability to walk independently

This disease used to be considered incurable, but now, for a number of patients who do not respond to other medications, a method that can stop the progression of the disease is being used — bone marrow transplantation. The cost starts at $120,000. The amount is unrealistic, but Roman was incredibly lucky — his neurologist, Lev Brylev, arranged for our beneficiary to receive a free transplantation in a clinic in Abu Dhabi! Roman needs to be in Abu Dhabi from June to October.

We express our immense gratitude to the clinic's management for this opportunity and for the successful transplantation that has already been performed!!! A sea of thanks to Dr. Brylev, who did everything possible to get Roman into the clinic's program and is taking complete care of him there!

Additionally, part of the rent for Roman’s accommodation was covered by Natalia Khodzhayan. We also thank the Armenian diaspora in Abu Dhabi for their help with finding housing and handling organizational matters on the ground..

The fund’s expenses to date amount to approximately 5,000 euros (2,130,491 dram at the current exchange rate). This includes payment for accommodation, tickets, and other unforeseen expenses. Unfortunately, Roman’s family is currently in a difficult situation; they are refugees and cannot cover the expenses on their own. Therefore, we are launching a new urgent fundraiser and ask you to join it. You can become a small part of the miracle that has already happened!
