First, there was a terrible car accident. Then — cancer. They say lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice. But not in this case.

In August, a devastating car accident happened.

A mother and three children were left with severe injuries.

And then came the second blow.

Cancer.

Karen Gulyan is a father of five children.

An ordinary man. He worked as a driver.

He lives for his family.

Pigmented melanoma. Stage 3.

The surgery was performed, but to stay alive he needs expensive medication — every single day, without interruption.

Today, no one in this family is able to work.

The Gulyan family are displaced from Artsakh.

They are living in Hrazdan, in relatives’ home.

Without their own house.

Without any reserve of strength.
