Varvara Solovyova
Senior Instructor, Head

By education — veterinary anesthesiologist (honors diploma). Graduated from the Meghrabyan Medical College with a degree in Nursing (honors diploma). Holds a bachelor’s degree in socio-economic education. Certified instructor in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the European Resuscitation Council and the National Resuscitation Council since 2020. Since 2021 — ITLS (International Trauma Life Support) instructor. Since 2025 — ALS (Advanced Life Support) instructor. With the VIVA Foundation since 2023.

Adelina Vardanyan
Instructor, Doctor

Physician and first aid instructor, graduate of YSMU (General Medicine). Work experience: 2 years in emergency medical services and 4 years in the admissions department. Certificates: MEDITRAINING SAUVETAGE AU COMBAT, TCCC Training, STOP THE BLEED. Since 2025 — ALS (Advanced Life Support) instructor, European Resuscitation Council. With the VIVA Foundation since 2023.

Mikael Avetisyan
Instructor, Military Medic

A professional military medic, also holds a degree in law. Participated in the Artsakh wars of 2020 and 2023. Awarded the “Combat Service” medal by the President of Armenia in 2022. With the VIVA Foundation since December 2023, currently studying psychology.

Tigran Lazaryan
Instructor, Rescuer

Native of Stepanakert. Rescuer with more than 27 years of experience; working as a first aid instructor since 1999. With the foundation since December 2023. Psychologist.

Artur Gasparyan
Instructor, Doctor

By education — maxillofacial surgeon. Served in the army as a medic. Worked in the intensive care unit during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participated in the 44-day war. With the VIVA Foundation since 2022.

Bella Badalyan

Bella is a maxillofacial surgeon. Graduated from Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi. With the VIVA Foundation since 2023.

What courses do we offer?

The VIVA Foundation conducts first aid training courses for doctors and people without medical education. They are a little different from each other. After completing the training course you can become an instructor.
First aid training courses

For everyone

Part 1. Complete First Aid Course

This course includes training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), placing a casualty in the recovery position, providing assistance in case of foreign body airway obstruction, as well as the algorithm of actions when providing first aid for injuries. The course consists of a theoretical part and practical training on mannequins in small groups. Course duration: 8 hours.

Part 2. Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

This course teaches basic CPR skills, first aid for airway obstruction, the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and placing a casualty in the recovery position. The course consists of a theoretical part and practical training on mannequins in small groups. Course duration: 4 hours.

Part 3. Basics of First Aid for Injuries

This course covers the fundamentals of first aid for various injuries: bleeding control, limb immobilization, assistance for snake bites, heat stroke, frostbite, burns, as well as actions in emergency conditions. The course consists of a theoretical part and practical training on mannequins in small groups. Course duration: 4 hours.

The course is conducted in accordance with the international standards of the European Resuscitation Council, International Trauma Life Support and STOP THE BLEED, and also complies with the requirements of the Government Decree of the Armenia No. 613-N dated 22.05.2025. It is a mandatory continuing professional development activity. Who can take the course?

Course duration

Upon completion of the course, a state-recognized certificate is issued and educational credits are awarded. The course is intended only for specialists with medical education.
